Welcome Bryce Anthony Pacetes

Huge update on our family...We are now the happy family of four. Bryce Anthony was born Wed, June 30th at 2:50 pm after Jamie was induced that morning. He weighed 6 pounds 13 ounces and is 20 inches long. It was an amazing delivery with labor lasting about 8 hours. Jamie had an epidural and the process was relatively pain free for her. We had a very close family/work friend Phylis present for support during the entire day of our induction. We had the whole day of talking and joking around, guessing weights, times and so forth on the new delivery. The epidural worked so well that we were joking and laughing throught the entire delivery process. Jamie is feeling great and recooperating well at home, the proud mother of 2 precious boys now. Bryce is an angel. We are not sure yet, but he is looking more like mom than anyone else so far. He sleeps well at night and is a very good eater. We came home Thursday evening and had our first night together as a family. Benjamin is already the best big brother ever. He has given lots of kisses to Bryce and wants to hold his hand every chance he gets. Benjamin got to hang out with Aunt Ashley during the birth and had an awesome time with her. He hasn't quite figured out the new baby yet though, because today was the first time he heard Bryce cry and Ben looked amazed that such a small being could be as loud as himself. He has already helped in diaper changes trying to help daddy wipe the baby. Richard was so anxious and worried at the delivery because things went so well that he thought it was all to good to be true. After Bryce was born, Richard was the most relieved proud daddy a person could be. The first words that came out of Richards mouth were "he is so cute" and "Mommy, you are so hot" (Richard was so estatic that he was flirting with mom right away. Everyone thought Richard's reaction was to cute for words. Bryce already seems to be fond of daddy the most. He will stop anything he is doing if Richard is talking just to listen to his voice and look for daddy. We are relaxing at home, just finished eating a great home cooked meal from family friends June, Tess, their kids and mother, which was much appreciated and enjoyed. Thanks to everyone for their prayers and support through this life changing blessing. We will continue to keep you updated as time goes on. For now we are all going to kick back and relax for the time being. Thank you to everyone again.

Summer is here!!!!!!!! (in south Texas at least)

We looked at the camera and realized that there were many pictures that we didn't have downloaded yet. Here are some of the pictures from Dallas with Ashley and Tyler, the park, and two different zoos, the Dallas Zoo and San Antonio Zoo. We just went to the San Antonio Zoo with a close friend of ours, Phyllis. We had a great time. We are enjoying the beginning of the summer already, and can't wait to got to the Padre Island Beach in a a few weeks with friends from work. Benny has all his swimming gear ready to go. We will try to be quick with the beach pictures so you can see all the fun we will have at the Sand Fest. Miss you all.....Love Richard, Jamie, Benjamin, and baby boy Pacetes to come.

Forgot to mention...

Looking back on here I noticed we forgot one small update....We are due to have another boy July 4th this year. Benny is going to learn to be a big brother very soon. We are so excited and blessed with this good fortune.

Dallas Trip

We finally went to Dallas to visit Ashley and Tyler. There apartment is so nice. Ben had a great time, acting like a hellion and all. He learned the word hot by spilling a cup of coffee on himself. He still runs around saying "ot, ot, ot" it is kinda funny now. We had a great time visiting Tyler's side of the family, Ben loves there yard. He ran around for about an hour just feeling the different textures from gravel to grass to rocks etc on his feet and loved showing off. Uncle Tyler, who he used to be scared of for some reason, became his favorite person to follow and sit with this trip. Ashley and Tyler got a little taste of the nudist we have on our hands because Ben was obsessed with pulling his diapers down just enough to let his but hang out. He is so funny. We also went to the Dallas aquarium and had a really good time. I am going to try to post some of those pics for you all to see. Thanks to Ash and Tyler for the great minnie vaca. We had a great time.
